Spin-off Class

Spin-off Classes are unique versions of base classes with unique skills and different storyline.

Overview[]

In lore, the existence of the spin-off classes are caused by an encounter between a creature that represents the nightmares of Altea with the representative of each of the base classes. Each base class responds differently to the nightmare encounter, and the ordeal ultimately changes the class to the point of becoming no longer its primary classes; instead, becoming a primary version of the matching spin-off class.

As opposed to the usual process of Specialization, characters from the spin-off classes undergo Awakening, which is available at Level 50. A quest unique to each spin-off class will unlock the secondary spec skill tree when accomplished.

Note: You will start playing the game as a specialized class. You can neither specialize into other jobs (e.g. Avenger into Swordmaster or Mercenary) nor use a Job Change Scroll.
