The Tempest is the secondary specialization class of the Acrobat, the other being the Windwalker. Tempests focuses on being more efficient in fighting at close range.

At Level 45, Tempest can be advanced from Acrobat after performing the Secondary Specialization Quest.

Overview

The Tempest focuses more of being a DPS or Support class ingame ( depends on your choice ). As a DPS, Tempest can deal short to mid burst of damage to a target w/o compromising the need to escape if needed ( with the help of evade and variety of skills that can be connected to Kick Shot ex ). Unlike her counterpart w/c is the Windwalker, her skills have a shorter animation. As a support, aside from providing her party members with increase movement and lowered cooldown ( with Spirit Boost ) she can also silence bosses during raids with her Hurricane Dance that can also render you invulnerability. Compared to Windwalkers Rising Storm, Hurricane Dance can also nullify or ignore invulnerability ( regardless if the target is using block for cleric classes for example or is in an Avatar State, the skill will still deal damage ). Tempest is by far regarded as the best 1v1 PVP character in game.

Awakening

At Level 90, you can begin the awakening quest.

Awakening Quest

Accept the awakening quest from the remote quest tab in your quest list. Report to [Merchant Fargeau] in [Merca Heart]. Clear [Wasteland Battlefield], talk to [Arc] at boss area and return to [Merchant Fargeau]. Talk to [Merchant April] then [Merchant Sarrah]. Clear [Broken Goldstone Canyon], examine the [strange mark] at boss area and return to [President Vernicka] then [Merchant Fargaeu]. Enter [Cradle of the Abandoned], talk to [Arc] halfway through and talk to him again at the end. Return to [Merca Heart] and talk to [Arc]. Collect drops from [Wasteland Battlefield] and [Blue Wind Plains] (1 round each is enough) and return to Arc. Collect a drop fromy [Broken Goldstone Canyon] and return to [Arc]. Talk to [Arc] in [Cradle of the Abandoned] (no need to clear) and return to [Arc]. Talk to [Arc] in [Tyran Territory ] and return to [Merchant Fargeau]. Go back to [Saint Haven] and talk to [Travaller Free] and you have awakened.
